Waiting for 100 Ideas

This is a little task I set myself after my contextual report. The aim is to produce 100 ideas for waiting in relation to the findings from my contextual report: Vulnerability, Anticipation, Mixing Experiences and Boosting Concentration. Amitted some of the ideas are a bit rubbish and silly, but this excercise allowed me to get the rubbish thoughts out of my head and layout all my good ones and analyse them. However, I only managed to complete 60.

Contextual Report: Waiting and Delays

Here is my contextual reported made with pieces of paper I have collected from 1st Year. Costed me 20p to produce 2 copies. I'm very pleased with my outcome.

Abstract

Wait, a word that is of the up most unpopularity but yet we encounter it everyday, from downloading programs on the computer to waiting for trains and buses to arrive. It is an unavoidable part of life which we often have to endure. Although much research has been carried out on the topic, the majority of them only concern mathematical solutions such as time waste management and probabilities (the chances of people arriving at the same time). These solutions simply aim to shorten the wait. However, rather than minimising the time wasted, what this project is concerned with is these idle moments of life and their possible uses. Time stops while waiting and becomes a dead weight. The mind then wanders off blankly without destination. How can one extract something positive from these moments?
